Book Haul 68 is coming at you from a place of no longer caring.

About the fact that we’re up to book haul number 68, that is. I’ve accepted the fact that it’s just who I am. This is me, I’m not changing. I love books. Book hauls are a thing in my life. And that’s just the way it is.

In today’s book haul I’m sharing are actually mostly from publishers who have provided me with copies of recent releases and upcoming books in exchange for a review. Full Disclosure, by Camryn Garrett

This was a book given to me by Penguin NZ. I read it recently and it was pretty good. There are some really important themes throughout the book, and I actually learnt some things about HIV and some of the things that people who are positive struggle with. You can read my full review here.

Frankly in Love, by Dvaid Yoon

Another book from Penguin NZ. This was such a cute book! I won’t say anything about it, but you can reall all my thoughts in the full review here.

Tunnel of Bones, by Victoria Schwab

The second in the Cassidy Blake series by Victoria Schwab, Tunnel of Bones follows Cas as she and her parents (and ghost best friend) head to Paris. I have yet to read this book, but I really enjoyed the first one, City of Ghosts, so I’m looking forward to getting into this one.

Ninth House, by Leigh Bardugo

What.An.Intense.Book! By now you should know that I really enjoy Bardugo’s Grisha books (the Shadow and Bone series, and even more so the Six of Crows Duology), so when I heard that she was releasing her first adult novel, I was very excited. And rightly so; this was a pretty dark story but also really good. Read my full review of Ninth House here! Thanks to Hachette NZ for this copy.

Serpent and Dove, by Shelby Mahurin

“Bound as one to love, honor, or burn.” Um hello. Interested! Thanks to Harper Collins NZ I have a copy of this book sitting on my TBR trolley waiting for me. I’m so looking forward to reading this and hope to get to it before the month is out!

Carry On and Wayward Son, by Rainbow Rowell

Okay so I read Carry On by Rainbow Rowell back in 2015 and loved it. But then this year we were blessed with a sequel, Wayward Son. Of course with the new release there were new book covers, and I knew that I wasn’t going to find a Wayward Son in the same style as my copy of Carry On. So I did what any bibliophile would do … and I just bought a matching set. Ha. Anyway! Wayward Son was everything I didn’t know I needed in a Simon Snow sequel and more. There’s even another one coming!

Rules for Vanishing, by Kate Alice Marshall

The perfect Halloween read, Rules for Vanishing is a ghost story about people being taken by Lucy Gallows into the woods where they’re never seen again. I don’t read ghost stories, but when Walker Books sent me a sneak peek of this tale I was intrigued. I ended up reading this in one sitting, I liked it so much.
