It’s been over 4 months since my last book haul!
I don’t know if that’s concerning because that’s very unlike me, or brilliant that I haven’t been spending money on books. It might have something to do with the fact that I’ve been away quite a bit, and I’ve also been doing a lot of library-borrowing, as well as trying to read some of the books I already own. Most of the titles in this book haul have been given to me as well; I think I bought only 2 from this lot.

War Storm, by Victoria Aveyard
The final instalment of Victoria Aveyard’s Red Queen series is finally out! Thanks a bunch to Hachette NZ for sending me a copy of this highly anticipated novel! I can’t wait to start it and find out what happens! Check out my reviews of the others in the series: Red Queen, Glass Sword, Cruel Crown, and King’s Cage.
The Wolf, by Leo Carew
I actually won this book from The Realm in a Twitter giveaway they were running. I’d never heard of the book before, but it sounds like an intense fantasy story. While it’s not high on the to-read list, it’ll be interesting to get into it one day.

Grace and Fury, by Tracy Banghart
This is another from Hachette NZ (thank you!!), and it sounds really good. This one doesn’t come out until July 26th, so you’ll have to check back in around then to get my review of it. Korrina at Owl Crate has read it twice and gave it 5 stars, and she’s basically how I judge if a book is or not. Haha.
The Graces, by Laure Eve
Another ‘grace’ book. This one actually came out in 2016, bu I spotted it on sale at a store this month and promptly put it in my basket. It’s about magic and witches, so we’ll see how it goes!

From Twinkle With Love, by Sandhya Menon
I loved When Dimple Met Rishi by Menon, so I was really excited when Hachette NZ sent me From Twinkle With Love. Have yet to start this one, but super looking forward to it!
The Summer of Us, by Cecilia Vinesse
Another from Hachette. This looks like your typical YA fluff story, about friends and travelling and complicated relationships. It’s nice a small too, at only 320 pages. Seems like a in-one-sitting kind of book.

The Smoke Thieves, by Sally Green
So I haven’t actually read anything by Sally Green before, despite owning the entire Half Bad trilogy. But this book sounded super neat, so I just went ahead and bought it.
So that’s the latest book haul! Despite it being a while since I shared one, I’m really looking forward to reading these ones.
Have you read any of these books? What did you think?
