Here we are at the end of 2019.

How was your last year of the decade? For me, 2019 was a pretty good year. There was travel, adventures, shows, events, lots of meals with friends, movie watching, music listening. On the blog we’ve had a good run; between book reviews, travel posts, blogging tips, working with a few new brands, events and festivals, and podcast show notes, it’s been a pretty full on year on the blog.

Like most years I like to do a bit of a round up of the past 365 (ish) days, to draw together some of the popular posts, the ones that got a little more attention that the others. This year it’s a mix of books, sewing, travel and a couple of geeky posts. Hopefully you’ll discover something you missed over the course of the year.

Rants and Reviews Show Notes

One of the things Sophie and I do each fortnight when we’re releasing Rants and Reviews podcast episodes is write up the show notes and post them on our blogs. This is so you guys can check back at the details of the episode, jot any books down that we mentioned that you didn’t quite catch, and also give a sneak peek into the episode for those who haven’t listened to it yet. We released 17 episode this year, from the beginning of Season 2, to where we are now; half way through Season 3.
