Welcome to the BoMoSh!
The BoMoSh is a post for Books, Movies and Shows. I’ll be sharing what I’ve read and seen in the last month, and I always welcome suggestions for books, shows and movies. Leave me a comment if you think there’s something that I might enjoy.

- House of Dragons by Jessica Cluess
- James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl
Hi, my name is Anjali and apparently I love reading but apparently, November was not the month for me. I have had a hard time reading recently, which is very unlike me. I put it down to having so many things on at the end of the year and launching new products and services that reading has fallen by the wayside, and I’ve come to the end of the day with no energy to read (although I have watched a lot of Friends…which is telling).
My Goodreads Reading Challenge for the year was 60 books and I thought it was going to be easy … but I haven’t even got to 50 yet! Bit of a disaster but it is what it is.
Movies
No movie this month! Actually, that’s partly a lie. I saw half of the movie Rebecca, but just because it was playing in the same room that I was going something else in. Haven’t been to the cinema in who-knows-how-long even though they’re back open here in NZ. Perhaps over summer break, there will be more movies watched. I’m actually hoping to watch a bunch of Christmas movies in the next few weeks, so December’s BoMoSh might look different!
Shows
As I just mentioned before, I’ve been getting to the end of the day and not having enough time before lights-out to watch a 40-min – 1-hour show so I’ve literally been living off Friends all month. Not a bad thing at all! In fact, it’s been so much fun rewatching, and I think there are episodes which I have missed over the years so that’s been great to be able to watch it straight through.
What have you read and watched this past month?
