Not only is it nearly the end of June already (okay, like a week to go), but The Travelling Novel is on the move. If you’re unfamiliar with this concept, you can read all about this new travelling book escapade over here in the announcement post. The general premise is exactly what it sounds like – a novel that travels around the world.
I thought that I’d give you all a bit of an update, seeing as it’s something that could easily be lost track of. On the 1st of June I sent off two books, one to Ria from Thoroughly Modern Millennial, and another to Erin at e-elise etc. Both ladies kindly agreed to help me kick things off. Ria then took her book to Dublin, Ireland when they went on a little excursion, and I’m looking forward to seeing where in the world the books might head to.

Readers are encouraged to write in the margins and underline sections they really like, or don’t like, and then they’ll pass them on to another book blogger. Hopefully, one day, they’re reach me back here in New Zealand. We’ll see how it goes. So far, so good!
If you’re a book blogger and want to get involved, let me know, and I’ll pass your details on to whoever currently has the book/s. You can follow The Travelling Novel, too, by searching the hashtag #thetravellingnovel or follow me on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for updates.
