Welcome to another BoMoSh post!

If you missed January’s post, then in short, this is a new post for Books, Movies and Shows. I’ll be sharing what I’ve read and seen in the last month, and I always welcome suggestions for books, shows and movies. Leave me a comment if you think there’s something that I might enjoy.

March was really the month of TV shows. Where February saw me reading 9 books, this month I only read 3. That being said, I’ve re-found my love of geeky cross stitch, so I’ve been watching a lot TV shows and creating cute things at the same time (not something you can do when you’re reading).

Undrafted (2016)

Wow. One movie. That’s ridiculous. While Beauty and the Beast should have been added to this list, it hasn’t actually come out in New Zealand yet (*gasp*). It’s being released on the 30th, and we’re having a girls night with dinner and the movie next week. That’s right. I have to get through an entire week of not seeing it … perhaps I’ll cheat and go and see it early and then I can just see it again next week…they’ll never know…right? Girls if you’re reading this, call me out on it. Make me wait.

Shows

This month I finally finished the first season of Pretty Little Liars (I know I know), and also started and finished Teen Wolf season 4 and 5 (no judging here, please). I also watched season 3 Orphan Black (how great is that show?!), and I’ve been continuing with seasons that are spitting out episodes each week, including Shadowhunters (which has finished), Quantico, Riverdale.

This month Vampire Diaries finished. Forever. I feel like it probably should have ended a little while ago now, but I stuck with watching it because I knew that this was the last season. I think I’m pretty happy with how it turned out, although there are definitely still unanswered questions, and I feel it left it open for characters to pop up in The Originals too.

Next month

Books – I have a one more book from Hachette Publishing NZ to read, and that’s Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor. I’m really looking forward to this, but at the same time, it’s reminded me that I really have to read the rest of the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series. I’ve only read the first one (and loved it) so have to get on. Perhaps a goal for April will be to read the second in that series. I also plan to read Poisoned Blade by Kate Elliott (the first of which was Court of Fives), and also Kiss of Deception by Mary E Pearson. Both of these books are library books, which I’ve probably had too long. Have to read them before I start adding to my fine.

Movies – Like I’ve mentioned, I’m seeing Beauty and the Beast next week (eeeeep!), and hopefully I can catch up on a couple of movies that have been released in the past few months that I still haven’t seen. Namely, Moana and also Doctor Strange.

Shows – The Originals has just started back up, so I’ll be watching that. Along with continuation of Riverdale. I’ve tried the pilot for a couple of shows, like Time After Time, and Making History. Might keep watching these, we’ll see.
