Hey, listen! A Zelda-themed subscription box!

May’s Fandom of the Month Club box is a little bit late coming to you, I apologise. I received this a couple of days ago and it’s so sweet. I used to play Zelda quite a bit on my computer when I was younger, and getting this box certainly made me want to rediscover the game!

This month was an okay box. As you’ll discover I probably won’t be wearing all the pieces, however I think it was very clever. Check it out!

Stash bag, information card, and magnet

As per usual, the subscription box came with a little bag, this time with Link and the Ocarina on it. There was an information card, which has all the details about FOTMC on the reverse. I love the magnet this month! It reads ‘hey listen!!!’ on it. So sweet!

Ocarina Music Necklace

This is super neat because it’s the buttons you press to play the Song of Time. As in ‘ > A v > A v’ Very clever! I think it’s a little short for my liking, but at the same time, you wouldn’t want it to be a long necklace because you’d lose the sweeping line of beads on it.

Triforce Earrings

These are sparkly gold Triforce studs.

Triforce Hylian Shield Ring

This is pretty cool, however I don’t think I’ll end up wearing it very much.

Rupee Bracelet

I actually really like this bracelet. It’s super simple, with the three rupees on it, but it’s very light and not too clunky. I think I’ll be wearing this one often.

So that was the Zelda box! Not a favourite of mine, despite my enjoyment of the game, but I do think that the pieces were very clever, especially the Ocarina necklace. I don’t know how much of these pieces I will actually wear, except maybe the bracelet, so in that sense, not a fabulous box for me.

What do you think? Did you get this month’s box?

Okay catch ya guys later. I’m off to play Zelda.

Also, if this is the first time you’re hearing about Fandom of the Month Club, then you really should check it out!
