Like everyone month, nearer the end of the 30-odd days, I get super excited about my Fandom of the Month Club Subscription Box arriving. This past month’s excitement was no less than usual, and while I did already know what I was getting (the hashtag on Instagram doesn’t hide anything), it was still fun opening it and seeing everything for myself.
This month’s theme was *drum roll* Sherlock! Squee! Very exciting! Sherlock is definitely a favourite of mine, and even though this box didn’t have as many pieces of jewellery as usual, it had an extra something something – a special item. Check out what was in this month’s box:
Stash bag, FOTMC card, and magnet

As also, this month included a stash bag, which reads ‘Whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth’, the FOTMC card which is the door to 221b Baker Street and has the subscription box and designers’ information on the back. The magnet this month is of, of course, Sherlock and Watson.
Quote Necklace
In case you can’t really read that, it says “I’m not a psychopath, I’m a high-functioning sociopath. Do your research.” It also has a cap and a pipe on it, and it’s so great. I love this a lot and have already worn it.
Sherlock and Watson Silhouette Earrings

Oh my word. These are brilliant. While I have yet to wear these, I can’t wait. I love the idea of silhouette earrings, and these 2 are the perfect pair to do with with.
Wallpaper and Smiley Face Headband

And here’s the special item! This month Erin (who ids the owner and creator of FOTMC) added this incredibly awesome headband. The background is the wallpaper from Sherlock’s apartment, complete with yellow Moriarty smiley face. While I love this headband and the idea, my head is atrocious at holding headbands on. I’ve tried and tried and I can’t get it to stay on. It’s a tad slippery, and my head is probably the wrong shape. But that’s okay! I might unpick it and turn it into a tied version of the headband, rather than a double wrapped one that’s the same size all the time.
So that was May’s FOTMC box! Another great box, and even though the headband is annoying for me, I will hopefully turn it into something that will work or I’ll pass it on to someone else. Love the Sherlock theme though! I wonder what next month will be!
Did you get May’s box? What did you think?
